OTTAWA - CANADA  DAY  FESTIVITIES
Day 1 - Morning “meet and greet” with introduction to image capture (maximum 1 hour) at a central upscale hotel. Shuttle to Steam Train Excursion into Quebec. Gourmet box lunch on train to give students time to spend photographing (and shopping!) the small Quebec town before returning to Ottawa by steam train. Dinner at a restaurant overlooking the Rideau Canal before a shuttle to the Sunset Ceremonies of the RCMP Musical Ride. (ms, l, d)

Day 2 - Slide show presentation of images captured on day 1 with photo instruction (maximum 2 hours). Then spend the day enjoying and photographing Canada Day festivities in and around Parliament Hill. Lunch at scenic restaurant is included. (ms, l)

Day 3 - Morning instruction and slide show of highlights from day 2's expedition (maximum 2 hours). Shuttle to an authentic 19th century Canadian frontier town for photo expedition and fun! Many subjects from the old world to capture. Sit down lunch provided on-site in 19th century splendour! (ms, l)

Day 4 - New slide show from previous days photo expedition and advanced instruction (maximum 2 hours). Hop on board shuttle to a Canadian wildlife park where you will have plenty of opportunity to capture close up many of Canada’s wildlife including buffalo, wolves, black bears, caribou etc. Sit down to lunch provided at a famous hotel on the Ottawa River. Day 5 - Following final level of instruction and day 4's slide show (maximum 2 hours). Take an interesting boat cruise along the Ottawa River between the provinces of Ontario and Quebec to view landmarks. Stop for lunch before photographing the Ornamental Gardens and Arburetum. Return for an evening buffet dinner followed by the final slide show highlighting images captured by expedition participants and presentation of certificates. (ms, l, d)
