Day 2 - Classroom instruction (maximum 1 hour) before a boat taxi ride to the picturesque island of Burano. We will spend the day exploring and photographing the amazing colors of the island. Included is a fresh Italian lunch while overlooking the beautiful canals. (b, l)

Day 3 - Classroom instruction and slideshow of day 2's photography (maximum 2 hours). Subject area of the day will concentrate on the historical area of Piazza San Marco and Cathedral. A delicious lunch at an upscale Venetian restaurant before exploring the Doge's Palace for an indoor photography session of stunning artwork and architecture. Take a relaxation break before the first of two night photography sessions around the fabulous canals of Venice. (b, l)

Day 4 - Classroom instruction and slideshow of day 3's photography (maximum 2 hours) before a boat taxi ride to the glassmaking island of Murano. A generous lunch is provided at a classic Murano restaurant.Then tour a glassmaking factory with excellent opportunities to photograph brilliant glass designs before strolling outside to capture the "Picture Perfect" scenes of Murano itself. Day 5 - A new classroom lesson and participants slideshow of previous days photography (maximum 2 hours) before a casual photographic walkthrough of Venice. Todays lunch on the banks of the Grand Canal overseeing the magnificent Rialto Bridge before shooting the Rialto Market. The once-a-year Historical Regatta of beautiful boats and ships will travel along the Grand Canal while the sun sets over Venice. Many opportunities for colorful images of the Regatta. Then prepare for the second night photography session along the Grand Canal before a relaxing Gondala ride return to the hotel. (b, l)

Day 6 - Last classroom instruction and slideshow of day 5's Grand Canal Regatta photography (maximum 2 hours) before moving to a Venetian Mask factory tour to capture beautiful masks with our cameras and new skills. Lunch at another upscale Venetion restaurant before moving by boat taxi to a historic monastry and gardens for a personalized photographic tour of the island. Travel back for a dinner reception and the final slideshow of student work before the presentation of certificates. (b, l, d)

Day 7 - Hotel check out. Ciao Venezia! (b)
